Hangar Construction at GLS set to begin this week

Construction Map

We're moving forward with some more construction at Scholes International Airport.

The ramp rehabilitation project will move from the south side of the North Hangar Ramp to the Middle Hangar Ramp.

The contractor plans to start work as early as Wednesday, May 1, 2019, but this is subject to change.

We currently estimate this area will be closed for two weeks, but this could change due to weather conditions and equipment breakdowns.

REMINDER: once the barricades are in place, you must not drive in the construction zone.

You may access your hangar on foot, but vehicles and aircraft are not allowed in the work zone.

Should you want to use your aircraft during this time, please make arrangements to move your aircraft before construction starts in this area.

We have plenty of tie-downs near the Terminal Building for those wishing to park their aircraft outside.

Please help us out by letting your neighbor know what is coming up.

Better yet, let us know their email and we will add them to our email notification list.
