Another phase of construction project completed

Good news on our construction project that's happening at Scholes International Airport. We're ahead of schedule and a portion of the ramp will be opened, two days earlier than we expected.

Construction Zone outlined in Red:

This area will now open Wednesday June 12, two days ahead of schedule. The affected tenants in this area are located in Stan Humphrey's Hangar 17, Units 6-10 located on North Side and Hangar 18, Units 1 & 3 located on the North Side. These tenants will now need to taxi west towards Taxiway E to access the taxiways and runways.

Construction Zone outlined in Green:

Tenants affected by this construction are located on the North side of the Jenkins/Gould Hangar 19, Uni 1, Hangar 20, Units 1 & 3 and Hangar 21, Unit 4 and Mark Sands Hangar.

Starting Wednesday June 12, RAC will begin removing the concrete as outlined by the green dashed lines on the construction map. We anticipate this construction in the Green Zone be completed and opened by June 24.

Construction Zone outlined in Blue:

Starting Monday, June 17, RAC will begin removing the two north rows of concrete located nearest the Stan Humphrey

Hangar 14 and Hangar 18 and will be working southward towards the middle of the apron. We anticipate construction in this area to last three weeks. We anticipate this area would open around July 8.

The affected Tenants in this area are in Stan Humphrey’s Hangar 17, Units 1 - 5 located on the South Side and Hangar 18, Units 2 & 4, located on the South Side

REMINDER TO TENANTS: During Construction near your hangar, please do not drive your vehicle into the barricaded work zone. We also recommend you keep your hangar door closed to help reduce dust in your hangar.
