June 20th Construction update

Construction is ahead of schedule, and all tenants will have access to their hangars over the July 4th holiday!!!!

Construction Zone as outlined in Green:

RAC expects to open this area up on Friday, June 21, 2019, which is three days ahead of schedule.

Tenants affected by this construction are located on the North side of the Jenkins/Gould Hangar 19, Unit 1, Hangar 20, Units 1 & 3 and Hangar 21, Unit 4 and Mark Sands Hangar.

Construction Zone as outlined in Blue:

RAC expects to open this area up on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, which is five days ahead of schedule.

The affected Tenants in this area are in Stan Humphrey’s Hangar 17, Units 1 - 5 located on the South Side and Hangar 18, Units 2 & 4, located on the South Side

Construction Zones as outlined in Magenta:

RAC should be opening the utility trenches June 20th near Gate 1 to the newly placed concrete and between Cano Hangar 27 and GLS Hangar 28.

No hangar access will be affected by this section being closed, but everyone will need to go around the north side of the barricades to access hangars located on the east side of the utility trench. Gate 1 will remain functional during this repair.

Construction Zone as outlined in Red – Taxiway E, east of Runway 18:

RAC should be closing the section of Taxiway E, located on the east side of Runway 18 starting, Wednesday, June 26, 2019. Working on this section next week, will allow all tenants full access to their hangars during the July 4th Holiday.

REMINDER: During construction near your hangar, please do not drive your vehicle into the barricaded work zone. We also recommend you keep your hangar door closed, to help reduce dust in your hangar.
