Plan your Memorial Day weekend to include the Mark Hardin Memorial Air Race at Terrell Municipal Airport. For the 7th year Terrell Municipal Airport will host the Mark Hardin Memorial Air Race. This is a Sport Air Racing League sanctioned open course speed race. All pilots and all propeller driven aircraft are eligible to take part. Flying is VFR only in strict adherence to the FAR's. Aircraft compete in equitable classes. This is a FUN, FAIR, SAFE event!
Friday, May 26 - Early registration begins at 2:00 pm
Saturday, May 27 - Race day, registration at 9:00 am
The 2017 Mark Hardin Memorial Air Race will be supporting and benefiting the Pride Rock Wildlife Refuge. Your participation will aid in the rescue & care of discarded and neglected wildlife. The residents of tigers, lions, bears, and cougars are not put on public display or taken for exhibition. They are cared for and given wonderful lives not known to them before.
