Update #7

Good afternoon everyone,

This update is our seventh update for our Runway 18/36 rehabilitation project. As with previous projects, new information is in RED font, and we will update you on the progress of the project and changes that limit your access to the runways and taxiways.

Due to weather conditions, contractor availability, and equipment breakdowns, all information below is subject to change.

Runway 18/36:

The runway work comprises five phases that will take 120 calendar days to complete the repairs. Please see the enclosed attachment for each Phase location.

Current Work Areas:

· Phase 1: starts at the approach end of Runway 36 and Taxiway A and goes north to the south side of the runway intersections. Spall repairs are done, and joint seal repairs are ongoing.

· Phase 2: is at the runway intersection and includes all concrete for both runways and Taxiway C to the hold short line. Work final work starts in this area the night of October 24. Runway 14/32 will be closed each night at 9:00 PM and opened each morning at 6:00 AM to complete joint seal repairs at the runway intersection and mark and stripe the runway intersection.

· Phase 3: includes work north of Taxiway C and south of Taxiway E. The spall and joint seal repairs are complete.

· Phase 4: includes spall repair and joint seal work between the hold short lines on Taxiway E and Runway 18. The spall and joint seal repairs are complete.

· Phase 5: includes marking and striping Runway 18/36 and taxiways A, C, D, and E up to and including the hold short markings. The striping work will start the week on October 24 through November 4 and will be done during the day, except for the work at the runway intersection.
