This project is for engineering and design services for Runway Safety Area Improvements (RSA) for Runway 14. This project’s original $200,000 cost has increased by $6,650 for a total of $206,650.
This increase is necessary to cover the cost of environmental permitting not covered by the FAA's environmental permit for their approach light pier project.
The preliminary design is complete. The final design is on hold until the environmental permitting is approved, which can take up to 12 months.
Construction cost is estimated at $1,471,000.
